Baxi reviews
The current range of Baxi boilers includes combi boilers, heat only boilers, system boilers and back boilers, the vast majority of which are rated "A" – or at worst "B" – for energy efficiency according to SEDBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in United Kingdom") ratings.
Combi boilers – in other words boilers that take their cold water feed directly from the mains supply rather than a storage cistern – from the Baxi boilers range include the Baxi Platinum Combi and the Baxi Duotec Combi ranges. Both ranges feature four individual models varying in output power from 24kW to 40kW so that you can choose a boiler to suit your domestic heating and hot water needs. The Baxi Duotec Combi range is also available in LPG ("Liquified Petroluem Gas") models. All the Baxi boilers in these ranges convert at least 90% of their fuel into useful heat so they can also help to reduce your heating bills and your carbon footprint.
Other Baxi boilers include the Baxi Megaflow System – a system boiler which incorporates major components such as a pump and expansion tank in the unit itself – and the Baxi Bermuda. The Baxi Bermuda is a back boiler which is typically installed into an open fireplace, or chimney breast, and provides a simple but effective solution for domestic hot water and heating. If space is at a premium within your home you may also like to consider the Baxi Solo heat only boiler which is available in five different models starting with an output power of 12kW.
