Viessmann Gas Boilers

Viessmann reviews

The German manufacturer, Viessmann, has almost 100 years' experience in the design and development of energy efficient heating systems. The company name has become synonymous with technological innovation, quality and reliability, but the performance of Viessman boilers is not achieved at the expense of the environment. Viessman boilers – natural gas fired, oil fired, and solid fuel fired – are all rated "A" for energy efficiency according to the SEDBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom") database.

The Vitodens 100 range of Viessmann boilers, is available in gas fired, compact, combi and system models all of which feature a unique, "Inox Radial" heat exchanger and integral "Aquabloc" for the central connection and maintenance of hydraulic connections. The compact version has dimensions of 530mm x 350mm x 340mm, yet is capable of an output of 18kW, or 24kW, at an energy efficiency of 97%.

The Viessmann Vitoplus 300 is a compact, oil fired, condensing boiler, operating on low sulphur (less than 500ppm) fuel oil, but nevertheless offering gross energy efficiency of 94%. The Vitolig 300 is another alternative from the range of Viessmann boilers, and uses wood pellet solid fuel fed into the boiler from a hopper – 150 litres in capacity – via a metering system. This model features a modulating output – via a variable speed fan – which allows output capacity to be matched closely to your heating requirements, and energy efficiency of 95%. The Vitoplus 300 also features self-cleaning and ash removal facilities, and so is easy to maintain at maximum efficiency.
