Ferroli Optimax HE 31 S

The new Ferroli Optimax Range of system boilers are all known for their high efficiency ratings and their low emissions. The Optimax HE 31 S is the most powerful model in the range with a maximum output of 31KW – enough for a family home. This Ferroli condensing system boiler is housed within a compact and stylish casing that makes it suitable for wall hanging in a variety of locations, including the kitchen. The main features of the Ferroli Optimax HE 31 S are listed below:

  • A SEDBUK rating A with energy efficiency being over 90%
  • Compatibility with Y plan and S plan heating systems.
  • An aluminium heat exchanger that has proven reliability and is highly energy efficient.
  • A factory fitted expansion vessel and integrated heating pump.
  • A built-in automatic bypass which keeps flow rate through the heat exchanger to a minimum whenever the boiler is in use.
  • A foam lined casing to minimise operating noise.
  • An easy to use control panel on the front of the casing with a liquid crystal display unit.
  • Natural gas and LPG models available.
  • Easy installation and easy to service parts. The removable front cover makes servicing and maintenance quick and mess-free.

ferroli optimax 31 c pressure constantly dropping below 1 bar and cutting out. Constantly refilling the system but the radiators dont need bled. Told it could be expension vessel but no help in the makers book to tell me how to repressurise the vessel. really quite unhappy as I think it will cost me a fortune to get a specialist in. I have it serviced but because I was a couple of days out on the annual service I have lost the 5 year warranty facility. What can I do
