Ferroli Optimax HE 18S

The Optimax HE 18S is one of a new range of system boilers from Ferroli. Its 18KW output is suitable for most flats and small houses and its compact dimensions make it easy to install in a variety of locations. This system boiler comes with a 5 year parts and labour guarantee and a number of key features which include the following.

  • Easy installation, servicing and maintenance plus the 5 year guarantee mentioned above.
  • An efficiency rating of over 90% which puts the Ferroli Optimax HE 18S condensing boiler high in the SEDBUK A-rating category.
  • Quiet operating noise as the casing is fully lined with high density foam.
  • An aluminium heat exchanger with proven reliability and increased energy efficiency.
  • A Ferroli factory fitted expansion vessel and a quality heating pump.
  • An easy to use control panel complete with a liquid crystal display.
  • A built-in automatic bypass valve which ensures minimum flow rate through the Optimax HE 18S heat exchanger at all times.
  • The option of natural gas or LPG as the primary fuel source.

The Ferroli Optimax HE 18S is a small and stylish condensing system boiler and can be fitted to both Y plan and S plan fully-pumped heating systems. In addition despite its modest energy output it is also compatible with most underfloor heating systems which adds to its versatility. Overall this Ferroli boiler is highly efficient and has very low emission ratings which make it one of the top ecological system boilers as well.
